It’s said that the universe is running down, increasing in disorder or entropy; in other words, getting older and middle aged. Meanwhile, life acts like pockets of increasing order or “syntropy”; much like salmon going upon stream to spawn every year. In a few billion years life has organized into structures that holographically mirror the totality of creation. We’re earthly representatives of the miracle of consciousness; and, I’m sure there are many more islands of self-reflective-conscious life in the universe.
What is life? Is consciousness part of all life? If so, does that mean that consciousness is already implied in the cosmology and physics of the whole universe?
